It has been a week of celebration. Somehow our family can really milk a birthday. It takes a lot of careful explanation to convince a four-year old that he will be celebrating his birthday on Sunday; a family party. On Tuesday; your "real" birthday. And, again on Wednesday; your friend party. Of course, he did not offer one complaint. Three parties? okaaaay! Well, the balloons have all popped, and the banners are put away for next year. It's official. My baby is 5. Sad? a little. Blessed? a lot.
wait for it....Legos!
how many 12 year olds get up at 6:30 am to make an awesome sign like this? (love that girl!)
"Mom, could I have chocolate milk for my birthday?" (requested days in advance)
Maddi even took him kite flying with Sophie on his "real birthday."
what is more joyful than chasing a kite?
great pals

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Little dude. We love you!

I love this little guy of yours. Happy birthday Henry! Thanks for always making me smile. Love, the candy lady
ReplyDeleteMaddi- You never cease to amaze me! You are so smart, creative, sweet, beautiful . . . and the list goes on and on. What nice things you did for your brother's big day.
Grandpa says we should all work on our harmony for singing Happy Birthday. I say we should pick up the tempo a little. We both say that Henry is an awesome 5 year old. We predict another fabulous year for him! How can he miss with two loving sisters like Hillary and Maddi making sure his life is sweet?
